This is an earlier edition of the Parker Champion Match Cue. It has a plain ebony butt hand-spliced onto a maple shaft.
This cue was sold by Charles Parker & Son, a billiards firm which operated in Barnsley from 1879 to approximatley 1969, when it was taken over by the Clare Padmore Thurston Group.
The writing at the top of the badge is faded but it reads "Specially Selected".
This cue was probably made in the 1930s or 1940s.
