This is the Sidney Smith Tournament Snooker Cue.
It has an ash shaft machine-spliced into a hardwood butt. There is an ebony front splice with three maple lines through the middle.
This cue was manufactured by Peradon & Co, probably in the late 1940s or 1950s.
