This is a Riley Cue with an ebony butt, hand-spliced onto an ash shaft. The badge is ivory.
There are examples of this cue with a snakewood butt, although these are much less common.
The Riley Cue was made by E.J. Riley Limited, from as early as 1921 through to as late as the early 1950s.
The example shown in the photograph is thought to date from the 1920s.
