This is a 1916 Tom Reece.
Like the earlier Tom Reece cues, it has an ivory badge on an ebony butt, with a dark thuya burr front-splice, handspliced onto an ash shaft.
The distinctive feature of this cue is that it commemorates the break of 901 made by Tom Reece over two days, on 13 and 14 June 1916.
The break was made against Melbourne Inman. It was the highest break made by Tom Reece using ivory balls.
The cue was made by Burroughes & Watts, probably shortly after 1916.
